Let The Maxwell Consulting Group takes you from initiation to accreditation, or simply ask us to assist with a particularly thorny part of the process.

Licensure
For many start-up schools, licensure can be a daunting process. An organization like The Maxwell Consulting Group brings the experience necessary to smooth the licensure process. Curriculum Development
The Maxwell Group has developed and documented many different career school curricula. Whether a new area needs research and documentation or simply an existing subject needs updating, we can help. Uniquely at The Maxwell Group we will also, if requested, provide the training for the faculty to implement the new material.

Program Audits

  • How does your school measure up?
  • Are you maximizing your students’ access to financial aid?
  • Is your admissions department recruiting enough top candidates?
  • Is placement getting your grads the kind of jobs that bring new referrals?
  • Is your curriculum providing technologically current information?
  • Is your faculty working effectively to increase student retention?

If you are unsure of any of the above, consider a Program Audit. The Maxwell Consulting Group can discreetly audit any particular department or your entire school. Your report will show weaknesses that need to be corrected and concrete ideas to correct the weaknesses.

    TRAINING

    Admissions Techniques

    Advanced Admissions Staff Training
21st Century selling requires more than the basics of traditional selling. The Maxwell Group trainings are customized to meet the specific needs of the trainees. The curricula have been developed from many sources. The teachings of leading sales trainers such as Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracey, Zig Ziglar and others are incorporated into our techniques. Subjects may include the interview, closing techniques, controlling with questions, using objections to complete the sale, signing the contract and collecting the payment, role-playing time management and personal inventories.

Specialty programs involve teaching staff to analyze the personality types of their clients and adapting their presentation and approach to meet the needs of the various clients rather than selling from one constant approach. The most exciting concept in sales today is the “Problem-Solution” model. Other recent concepts are “Sorting not selling,” “Spin Selling” and “Selling to the Marginal Client.”

    New Staff Development
Your new staff members need careful guidance in developing into powerful team members. The Maxwell Group can supplement your supervisory efforts or design a complete new staff training program from first phone call to appointment to close. Are your telephone and interview steps carefully written? The Maxwell Group can help you document your procedures and create customized training manuals for your staff.

    Faculty Development

    Individualized Approaches to Education
The same techniques used by sales staff to better understand prospects can be used by faculty members to understand and motivate students. While the training of faculty must use different approaches, many of the methods to motivate students to enroll can motivate students to learn. After all the students are the same people at enrollment as they are in class.

    Staff Supervision Techniques
The Maxwell Consulting Group can show your supervisory staff new paths for guiding their staffs more effectively. They can learn “How to make a Good Salesperson into a Great Salesperson,” “Individualizing Supervision Approaches” and “Goal Setting and Personal Management Techniques.” Both group supervision sessions and individualized consultation are available.
